Meet Corey

Corey is an award-winning leadership educator and organizational performance expert. As a born and raised Alaskan, he channels the spirit of his homeland through his creative, collaborative, and charismatic leadership style honed in the boardroom and executive suites.

He's known for steering organizations and individuals toward optimal performance by applying the latest in performance psychology and case research to develop actionable strategies. Corey teaches on and helps SMBs, NGOs, teams, and professionals in three verticals:

  1. Community Development

  2. Business Performance Psychology

  3. Personal + Workforce Development

Corey has a knack for creative and transformative marketing with over a decade of experience in journalism and digital communications, digital virality experience, and features in various state and national publications, including USA Today, Canon USA, Anchorage Daily News and more.

As an entrepreneur, Corey has built, scaled, and managed several statewide organizations, including one of the largest online tourism brands, Sharing Alaska, with over 1 million followers. He has 10+ years of record-setting experience with small and national-level event management operations and 10+ years of public-sector and non-profit fundraising, membership growth, and executive management experience.

Corey is a recipient of AJOC's "Top 40 Under 40" and was selected by chambers of commerce across Alaska as the "Alaska Young Professional of the Year”. He is a former Honorary Military Commander at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and TEDx speaker.

Corey also specializes and consults on sustainable tourism development; event management; social media marketing; and college admissions. He enjoys photography, volunteering for conservation efforts, being outdoors, and writing nonfiction.

He graduated with a BA in Journalism from the University of Alaska Anchorage and an MBA from Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business. He is currently a JFK Fellow and Dean Martin Leadership Fellow at Harvard University and is a dual MPA / JD candidate at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Law School.
